With this cool instrument, you can do whatever you want with theese four serial communication protocols. Connect your device(s) to two device channel. Each one can be configured as RS232 or 3.3V level UART, SPI or I²C. Our Chinese friends have done a good job. PCBs came at 21st of Apr. and they looks good. I also assembled 3 of them but the pictures will be here later. I am not at my lab for a few days. Anyway, bare PCBs are shown below. Cheers.
Good news! It seems prototype PCBs are in Turkey and just a few days to get them. Hooraay!
Today i checked the PCB process. Production is done. We are waiting for shipping. Now, I wish luck to China Post and PTT. Don’t make me sad.
The hard part was selecting the components, enclosure, backup battery, etc. But it’s done. I choose my hobbyist side, and send the gerbers to a company which is produce prototyping PCBs for a low price. It’s in China and we must wait 2 – 3 weeks to get PCBs. While they are producing, I will[…]
